Back in the late aughts, I was camping with a family member at the old farm I used to co-own and the subject of time came up around the campfire. I suggested that in the sense that we often perceive and think of it “time” does not exist. Said smart family member looked at me as if I was crazy.

I went on to try to explain what I meant. It’s admittedly something hard to verbalize.

Back then, I was already aware of the gap between general relativity and quantum mechanics and string theory seemed shaky as the gap-bridger.

All particles, universally, everywhere exist simultaneously. They are utilized in one form everywhere, from the microscopic to the cosmological in one instant, locked together in the now, but then are forever to be different in the next instance. Entropy is real, and usually makes those changing moments seem “slow” to move. That is unless a large, measurable, spectacular action or event disturbs the entropy of the matter locally. General Relativity works on the MACRO level and how we experience “time”. Space-Time (the theory of how mass creates gravitational effects that distort how “time” is experienced by an observer) is measurable, and thus “time” is relative to the observer.

Did you know, that every year or two, Scientists add a “leap second” to our calendar to account for the fact that our Earth’s rotation slows two-thousandths of a second every day? We don’t experience the change, because the change is on a MICRO scale. However, from a computing standpoint, companies do have to account for this as hardware systems are integrated with one another based on a collective determination of what we have decided “time” is.

Humans made up our collective determination of “time” based on the movement of MACRO bodies in our cosmos. We made up time to coordinate our activities.

I was just sitting on my back deck. A bumblebee and I were interacting. A bumblebee’s wings flutter at 230 flaps per human measured/devised “second.” To my perception those wings are just a blur. In this little video, you’ll notice me flicker my hand a couple of times. The bumblebee almost has an a priori knowledge of my action and seems to intuitively move to evade my action BEFORE I do it. In reality, it’s more likely that a bumblebee’s sensitivity to air pressure changes and/or visual abilities are acute as a matter of evolution and survival that cause this quick reaction, but to my perception it appears uncanny and as if the bumblebee is predicting my movements before I make them.

While doing this, I was thinking of Lt. Dave Fravor’s explanation of the Tic Tac UAP from the U.S.S. Nimitz events in 2004 and how the object/objects moved. His description seemed remarkably similar to the way I experienced this bumblebee’s movements. The bumblebee will hover for a few moments and then fly off at incredible speed in relation to its size/scale. Imagine seeing a 30-foot long craft move at a similar speed relative to its size. On average, a bumblebee only lives for 28 days on the human constructed measurement of time. Clearly, The bumblebee’s whole experience of “time” is completely different than a human’s. Further, does a bumblebee even experience “time” as humans perceive it. Will the artificial intelligence machines we are and will create be able to perceive the concept of time?

It’s all connected. As we are.

This is going to be a fascinating decade of marvelous scientific discovery. My son is studying A.I. and machine learning at UAH. Continuing advances in computing capability and capacity will help us unlock some of nature’s greatest power. I think we’re going to discover that the matter of all the universe is unified and connected on both the largest macro (Relativistic) and micro (Quantum) levels. We already suspect this, but are still seeking a unifier. I believe that we will learn that matter is entwined. Everywhere, at every instance. Once we learn the “trick” to utilize this, maybe we will one day send our own probes to distant worlds, like perhaps others have to ours.
